CHIPS Magazine is published exclusively online by the U.S. Department of the Navy and sponsored by the DON Chief Information Officer (DON CIO) and the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic.
CHIPS motto states: "Dedicated to Sharing Information, Technology, Experience."
We publish four editions per year, January-March, April-June, July-September, and October-December, with a different theme selected for each edition, for example, the theme for the January-March 2018 edition is data science and its application in U.S. Navy warfare and business operations. New editions are generally published by the third week of the last month in a quarter. In addition, we publish news updates each business day.
CHIPS welcomes articles from our readers and we encourage your feedback. Please submit articles or suggestions via e-mail as Microsoft Word or text file attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
CHIPS accepts articles that cover the range of Navy information technology/information management, tactical as well as business systems and networks, communications, C4I, ISR, innovation, process improvement, OPSEC, cybersecurity, spectrum, information warfare and diversity/professional development.
You may submit illustrations and photos to complement your article, but do not embed photos or graphics within your Word document.
