CHIPS Articles: Patriot’s Day

Patriot’s Day
By CHIPS Magazine - September 11, 2018
Sept. 11, 2001, changed America forever - the attacks moved a generation of Americans to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces or in other profound ways to help heal the nation. That day's destruction and devastation did not bring the nation to its knees. Rather, it filled Americans with resolve and patriotism and sparked a spirit of service in the hearts of a new generation.

We now observe Patriot Day annually on September 11th as a National Day of Service and Remembrance for the thousands of lives lost and wounded in the 9/11 attacks.
