Privacy Training FAQs

By DON CIO Privacy Team - Published, October 28, 2019

Privacy training should be completed by all Department of the Navy personnel (i.e., civilians and contractors) no later than Sept. 30 of each year. Navy military member training requirements are specified annually via NAVADMIN.

The Department of the Navy Annual Privacy Training Course (DON-PRIV-2.0) can be accessed through Navy Knowledge Online (https://learning.nel.navy.mil/), the Total Workforce Management Service (http://twms.navy.mil/), and MarineNet (https://www.marinenet.usmc.mil/) websites. These are the preferred methods since they collect and provide training metrics. As a last resort, the course can be accessed via this website. An editable certificate is available for download if using the DON CIO website version of the course.
