Arlington, Va. - The Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) and the Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) program office are holding a media roundtable regarding the Next Generation Enterprise Network contract Re-compete (NGEN-R).
On Sept. 20, the Department of the Navy (DON) announced an adjustment in the award schedule of the NGEN-R primary contracts: http://www.doncio.navy.mil/chips/ArticleDetails.aspx?ID=9494
On Sept. 21, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) issued a notice of intent to issue a sole source solicitation for a contract extension of the NGEN contract. This extension will provide continuation of services and transition services for the Navy and Marine Corps while the NGEN-R family-of-contracts are procured.
