Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and myriad factors involved, the FY20 Global Town Hall, the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer Dana Deasy postponed the event which was scheduled for May 5 at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) headquarters conference center. The DoD CIO will re-evaluate a new date for the event as more clarity on COVID-19 restrictions is available.
Further, DISA announced that all its scheduled events planned for Baltimore have been put on hold citing the health and safety of mission partners and staff.
This includes the following:
- Department of Defense and Federal Knowledge Management Symposium
- DoD Endpoint Security Summit
- DoD Information Network Capabilities Requirements Industry Advisory Council sessions
- DoD Public Safety Communications Symposium
DISA officials remain excited to come together to empower partnerships and drive innovation and will share information on future plans as it becomes available.
