The Department of the Navy's data security and integrity is paramount to the mission to deliver combat ready naval forces. As officials and military and civilian employees of the DON, we are entrusted by the public to safeguard our data and ensure transparency and accountability are maintained. Therefore, all DON officials and military and civilian employees are expected to comply with existing law and policy and use only official Department of Defense messaging accounts, including, but not limited to, official email, social media, or other messaging applications to conduct official business.
