Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Real-Time Spectrum Operations (RTSO) provides real-time spectrum awareness and emissions control (EMCON) validation to support Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) and cyber concerns. RTSO also maximizes compatibility and ensures compliance with Treaties and Directives on spectrum allocations.

Impact:
– Optimizes electromagnetic (EM) spectrum usage and develops OPTASK COMM and OPTASK EW Annex K Radar Frequency Plans; maximizes compatibility and ensures compliance with Treaties and Directives on spectrum allocations.
– Provides Real-Time spectrum awareness and Emissions Control (EMCON) validation to support Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) and Cyber concerns.
– Enables situational awareness of spectrum use by military, civilian, host nation.
